Accidents of Gestation: Prolapse of the Bladder

Eversion of the Bladder.
Eversion of the bladder is easily recognized, as this organ is attached to the area of the floor of the vestibule where the urethral orifice is normally located. The openings of the two ureters drip urine, and the mucous lining of the bladder may be felt.
Utrecht (1976)

Prolapsed Bladder.
Prolapse of the bladder usually takes place through a rupture or tear in the floor of the vagina. It must be differentiated from eversion of the bladder through the urethra.
