Navigation of The Visual Guides

Select the guide you wish to use from the menu on the left (Bovine, Bubaline, Equine, Ovine, Porcine, and Caprine are currently available). Once you have selected your guide their are additional categories to select specific subjects. To view additional images available in the subject click on the arrow on the right side of the screen.

To select a different subject simply click on the VISGar icon in the upper left-hand corner of the screen, the Guides, then the specific subject.

If you wish to do a "Quicksearch" of a specific topic in any of the Visual Guides, type a keyword in the box in the lower left-hand corner of the screen under "Search Reproduction Guides". This will bring up a page with the results and a search form that will allow you to make a more advanced search of all the Visual Guides or a single Visual Guide.

Copying and saving images from the Visual Guides of Animal Reproduction.

Anyone is free to use the images in personal / professional unpublished presentations such as talks, seminars and lectures. We do request that the Visual Guides be acknowledged as the source of the images and, if possible, the URL (visgar.vetmed.ufl.edu) for the website be displayed. If you wish to use any of the images in official publications such as brochures, guides, books, or other web sites, you must request approval from the producers of the Visual Guides of Animal Reproduction. You may email a request. Upon review of the request a letter granting permission will be sent to the author(s).

In most browsers you may copy or save the image on the image page by placing your cursor on the image and "right" clicking your mouse. A menu will appear and you may select either "Save image as" or "Copy" to capture the image for use in documents or presentations.
