Accidents of Gestation: Ruptured Prepubic Tendon
Prepubic Tendon Rupture.
The prepubic tendon has ruptured due to excessive weight of the uterus due to multiple fetuses. Abdominal trauma to the posterior abdomen occasionally predisposes the rupture of the prepubic tendon during late gestation.
