Ultrasonogram of Hydrometra.
Cloud burst or pseudo pregnancy. The ultrasonogram shows large fluid-filled compartments which are separated by thin tissue walls (trabeculae). There are no fetuses, nor placentomes. The compartments undulate when the doe moves, or when the abdomen is succussed.

Hydrometra Dorsal View.
Bilaterally distended abdomen as in a doe with a multiple pregnancy. Pseudo pregnancy is a pseudonym for hydrometra in the goat.

Hydrometra Posterior View.
Bilateral abdominal distension due to hydrometra must be differentiated from multiple pregnancy and bloat. The latter is unilateral to the left.
