Phallus. Tip of Penis
Extended penis in an intact sexually mature tom. Note the testosterone dependent spines surrounding the base of the penis. When flaccid, the penis points caudally. When fully erect, the penis will point cranially.

Prepubertal Penis
Penis in a pre-pubertal male. At 6 months of age, the penis is still adhered within the sheath and is not able to be fully extended. No penile spines are present. As this tom enters puberty, the adhesions will break down and the penis can be easily exteriorized.
