The vulva of this buffalo in heat is slightly swollen, and there is a scant mucous discharge.
During estrus the lips of the vulva become edematous, and the mucous membranes erythematous.
This buffalo shows signs of estrus by virtue of frequent urination and a slightly laterally deviated tail.
Old obstetrical injury of the dorsal commissure of the vulva.
Trauma of the left labia may be due to dog bite, or the animal may have backed into a sharp object.
