Handling Buffalo.
Processing buffalo through a narrow lane facilitates routine procedures such as injections, reading identification numbers up close, and even palpation per rectum of the last animal in line after placing a cross bar.

Buffalo in Chute.
Buffalo can be restrained in a cattle squeeze chute for close examination including palpation per rectum.

No Backing Up.
A crossbar such as a pipe or fence post will keep the animal from backing up in the chute (or in the lane).

Side Approach.
Buffalo can be palpated from the side of the chute. This is particularly helpful if the animal likes to kick or if there is no ready access from the back of the chute.
