
Uterus Unicornis.
Congenital absence of the left horn. Both ovaries are present. This condition leads to reduced fertility. When ovulation occurs on the unaccompanied, contralateral ovary, the resulting corpus luteum is retained due to lack of prostaglandin release by the endometrium of the missing ipsilateral horn.
