Cervix.
Cervix of a sexually mature resting (non-pregnant and non-lactating) common bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus). The animal is positioned in a dorsal recumbency. The reproductive tract was opened with an incision down the central midline. The cervix is centered down the midline and delineated by the calipers. Small longitudinal folds run the length of the cervix.
